Many people believe that counseling means to say something about the problem, to give suggestion, to give some information, to give recommendation, to give consolation, to gossip. Actually all these activities are not counseling because counseling is a totally professional issue which is conducted through different psychological principles.

(4) What is the difference between psychiatrist and clinical psychologist | - When a person first complete MBBS degree in medicine then complete post- graduation in psychiatry she or he is called psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are expert in medicine and they use medicine for the treatment of psychological disorder.
| | - Clinical psychologists first complete graduation from psychology, then complete one year MS and two years M.phil degree in clinical psychology. A clinical psychologist must have theoretical knowledge on psychology and beside this they must have practical knowledge by providing psychological service to the mentally ill client in the Psychiatry department of different hospitals. Clinical psychologists use psychotherapy technique for the treatment of psychological disorder.

(7) Does psychological treatment without medicine works? Medicine can help a person but psychotherapy help to resolve the problem permanently. Mental illness which develops because of the chemical imbalance in the brain must require medicine. In case of maximum metal illness combined use of medicine and psychotherapy worked well. Psychotherapy helped a person to understand his/ her mental illness, cause of illness and to solve the problem. Psychotherapy helps a person to feel free by expressing her/his emotion.

(8) Can clinical psychologist, psychologist understand ones problem by watching his or her face? Clinical psychologist, psychologist cannot understand ones problem by watching one person’s face. They observe, take interview and use different psychological assessment techniques to understand the problem of a person.

10) Can counseling solve problems in one day? Many people have wrong idea that, clinical psychologist, psychologist can solve problem in one day. But this idea is wrong because counseling is a long term process which identify problem, analyze the cause of problem and the time of the psychological solution of problem depends on the nature of problem. Each person and their problems are different so time of treatment depends on the types of problem of a person.
